*RUBARB’s grand re-opening party was a great success! A lot of old and new faces stopped by to partake in great food, a bounce castle, spontaneous relay bike races, the Swamp Lillies and a bike auction! Big thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.
*RUBARB went to the 2nd annual PEACE IS POWER PUPPET PARADE on sept 17. we marched with our very own handmade puppets and danced along CANAL st with several other organizations. fun was had by all. peace dudes!
*RUBARB kids participated in bike races in Algiers, and kicked butt! 8 RUBARB youth took it to the streets in this 1st annual event. Charvanae and Lonnie both won 1st place prizes (trophies and all!) and everyone had a blast. www.sportingsocietyofalgiers.org
