*RUBARB volunteers helped with a bike rodeo event for a cub scout group in Metairie. Volunteers helped make adjustments, fix flats and do small repairs and the cub scout group had collected bikes to donate. THANKS St Edward the Confessor for organizing this event and inviting us!
*there was a pirate ship bound adventure to Lafitte, to check out the ship of the Caravan Stage Company. The crew of this ship, which travels the world and does spectacular performances, gave us a tour and we got to see the ins and out of this beautiful wooden boat. After exploring and snacking, the RUBARBians hiked through the swamps of Jean Lafitte National Park. Everyone had fun in nature, observing snakes and screaming at spiders! It was an action packed, exciting day.
